Job Description:
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of all types of vehicles
- Develop the skills to routinely diagnose and repair:
- Computer systems
- Gasoline and diesel engines
- Wheel alignments
- Tires
- Steering and suspensions
- Brakes
- Hydraulics
- Fuel and emission systems
- Ignition controls
- Electrical systems
- Transmissions
- A/C and heating systems
- Drive trains
- Windows, door locks and hood latches
- and more
- Become trained to perform Ontario Ministry of Transportation Drive Clean emissions testing
- Order and receive parts as needed for repairs
- Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
- Maintain workshop cleanliness and organization for a safe working environment
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must hold valid drivers licence with a clean driving record
- Well organized and systematic problem solver
- Posses a good work ethic and positive attitude
Hours:
- up to 42 hrs per week
- Monday to Friday: 9 am - 5 pm
- Saturdays: 9 am - 2 pm
- Able to negotiate hours for part time schooling
